2021 The Year of Fun, Family, Health and Adventures

Those that know me well know that I am an adventurous person. I crave that adrenaline rush and I am always looking for that next big thing that can give it too me.

When I was young I played a lot of team sports and worked extremely hard to further my skills and the success I accumulated from that. There was extreme highs and hard hitting lows. These shaped me to be the person I am today and is so true if life. 2018/19 were challenging years with amazing highs and some crushing lows. We all know that 2020 was a year of great challenges, but I loved and embraced most of it to become centered with the life I want to lead. For 2021 I look to ride the waves, as the lows are important to make the highs feel extra amazing. I also believe that all experiences/results are stepping stones for something that is bigger coming around the corner. In my life I can finally see that light at the end of my tunnel of what my true destination is (to influence the way we education children about health and fitness through deeper connections with families moving together and make health and fitness a part of everyday health for mental health as much as physical).

For me I have a big personal bucket list to achieve (you can find it here, along with my morning and evening routine to live my best life), as do my kids. We always talk about goal setting and all aspects of life and how it is important to dream big but also live in the present, being grateful for every moment of everyday, as they will help us be who we were meant to be. I am studying a Diploma in Weight Management (focusing on nutrition, movement and psychology) to help my Personal Training Clients to be better able to reach their health and fitness goals, whether that be to tone up, manage weight for life, reach a sports specific goal, or just live their healthiest and fitness life. You can book my services here. Or jump on one of my free classes. Find details of my free classes or other services here.

It’s taken me a bit to get into 2021, but for me January is always a month of fun in the sun with lots of inwards reflection, February is the time where I take action to set up how the year will be, and from March on I will live each moment of each day with purpose and enjoy my next year of transformations unfold. I'm a mother of 2 beautiful girls and live on a dairy farm with my hardworking husband in South Gippsland. I am a Primary School Teacher with a Major in Physical Education and also a Qualified Personal Trainer with a love of Learning, Health, Fitness and imparting all I know to strengthen the lives, bodies and minds of those around me. These passions and the hunt for a good balance between being a mother, contributing to my community and helping to support my family had me to exploring options and along came Kangatraining! Why Kangatraining when I already work as a personal trainer can be answered in 4 words 'safe for new mothers!' I have lots of mums coming to my mainstream classes but I was not educated enough on what is and is not safe and as much as we say our venue is kid friendly, activities are not structured with the children in mind! This is what I love about Kanga!
